This extremely versatile and economic machine offers various advantageous cutting solutions for many applications.

SMART is aimed at customers working on low thickness sheets both in metal carpentry and pipelines for air conditioning.

In the basic version of the machine, the torch's downward motion is controlled pneumatically, with adjustable pressure, and the cutting height can be adjusted manually. The machine is fitted with a 4-sphere truck which, in contact with the sheet, maintains it straight in the cutting zone.
In the machine with height control option, the torch's downward motion is controlled by a servomotor, which guarantees the exact cutting height from the sheet even in the presence of deformations of the same, thus making possible the use of a high-definition plasma generator. The limit for this application is the maximum cutting current, which must not exceed 130A, which corresponds to a maximum thickness of the sheet of 25 mm iron .

The electronic component of the movement comprises brushless servo motors, with high resolution encoders, controlled by entirely digital actuators integrated within the motors. These actuators are connected to the CNC via a digital bus. The sheet being worked is placed on a grille made up of simple rectangular strips of metal, which can be very simply and rapidly replaced, for which a design plan is supplied.
This grille rests on the frame machine and the suction occurs through suction tank that is an integral part of the machine structure.
