XM EVOLUTION is positioned as a complete high-definition large-format plasma cutting system. Its primary feature is the modularity of the length, which enables you to extend the machine even after the system has been purchased.

The cutting head, which includes the plasma torch and any other accessories described below, runs along a portal on hardened ground guides. The portal, which comprises a high-rigidity boxed beam, moves via two connected servomotors in a “GANTRY”.

The torch unit is fitted with an anti-collision system that prevents the torch being broken by shutting the machine down in the event of accidental collision. This system was created and produced entirely by FMT, which enables total integration with numerical control, and follows the undulation of the sheet, maintaining a constant cutting height.

The sheet being worked is placed on a grille made up of simple rectangular strips of metal, which can be replaced very simply and quickly, and for which a design plan is supplied.

This grille rests on a specialised aspiration workbench that is modular and divided into sections, to ensure that the suction is always concentrated below the cutting zone.

From 3000mm up to 24000mm, as well as to order.
